yup. most support ends after 1-2 years.
android is currently on version 9.

i wouldnt use. there have been a number of very public wide spread android issues that have been fixed in the past 6 years.

in the 22% bracket, they can likely go either way, but most people are best served w/ t401k and rIRA.
will they make significantly more in the future?
goal can be 20% for retirement. thats 25K or 1 401k + 1 rIRA.

tIRA lowers your taxable income. therefore there is less for the 20% QBI to be applied to. therefore yes its lower.

are you already doing a max t401k? otherwise i would leave it as a rIRA. unless you are already planning Roth conversions. then tIRA.

solo 401k and IRA have nothing to do with each other.
you can do employee up to 19+6 catch up assuming no other qualifying accounts.
and then he can do employer up to 56K if his income qualifies.
is he using a SEPIRA right now?
