Just reviving an old thread. I recently posted regarding my house having an usual dimension for one of our closets. It seems only a "baby" clothes hanger will fit on the closet rod. The NY 457 does not have any other % fees to my knowledge. Think it is 20$ per year. Google their paperwork and it is very clear and transparent. ( unlike the other 403b mess you are dealing with )

No need for 50k for Wellington. My wife uses it. I "make" the total stock market using the large cap index and small cap index. Also, using the bond/debt index. Some of the fund names are a little different than you are probably used too.

I do wish those were vanguard target funds.

I went through a similar adventure last year. Look for my threads. Bottom line is if it has a % next to it then that is a bad sign! Maybe put "403b or 457" in your thread title and maybe Krow36 will chime in. He helped me navigate the muddy waters of the 403b for me.

Do you have other 457 or 403b vendors? Ask your human resources. You most likely do. The "advisors" ( salesmen) won't mention this. Who is your third party administrator? What state are you in? Have you visited www.403bwise.com yet?
