It says the price is $100. I assume that means - any amount.

JLCnuke - I would say he both informed and recommended - he wasn't pushing it, but thought it would be good option.
It was face to face discussion - no emails.
Discussion related to buying fixed income investment. Went on to say it was up to me, but this CD was an option to consider.

When Rick Ferri was the owner of Portfolio Solutions they always recommended Garrett Financial Network to clients who needed services outside portfolio investing. I always took that as a good recommendation.
