Re: Best Value TV purchase
I went super-cheap and bought an Insignia (Best Buy's house brand) around Black Friday. It's disposable junk but at half the price of even a normal budget TV it's great for my bedroom. The TCL Roku's are also very well reviewed for their features and their quality is good enough. I can't speak to th...

I picked up one at BestBuy for $40 on Saturday. For those interested in rooting, the Best Buy devices seem to be running version 5.0.1 which is still rootable (although the bootloader is locked). I bought a Brother DCP-7065DN for $110 in June 2014, which sounds like about what you are in the market for. I don't think they make this anymore. The big thing for me was that it was compatible with the very cheap TN450 toner cartridges. Non OEM cartridges made by Monoprice or Linkyo frequently pop...

Checked my documents for 2014. Lo and behold, another 20% premium increase. $1000 in 2012, $1265 in 2013, and $1559 in 2014 I have never made a claim against homeowners insurance, but did have about $2000 worth of car repairs covered by my separate GEICO auto insurance policy last year. I really like my Sony Vaio. My main requirement was a 1080p screen resolution for doing coding or using 2 programs side by side. No one complains when their premiums stay the same, but it does seem odd that many respondents here all seem to be in Missouri. I wonder if there's been a large change in the state's risk according to their models.
