I have had both and enjoy netflix more but it may come down what content you want. There is also amazon instant prime which has different content (and you get amazon free shipping).
Also look around for coupon codes for both netflix and hulu that give you a discount.

If the bands are set in your investment plan, stick to them. It is more about sticking to the plan than the actual numbers of the plan that makes it work. I would ask why you want to sell now? Any time you are up 10%, are you going to sell? If so, change your plan. If not, you are trying to time the...

Have been to many beaches in Florida. Went to Palm Coast on the Atlantic side in July and stayed at the Hammock Beach Resort. Very nice and they are running a buy one day get one free day special. Talked to the concierge there and she said it is the best rates they have had. Siesta Key probably has ...

After exams had finished on a Friday, a bunch of my college buddies and me were driving to fort lauderdale thru the night taking turns driving. On I-75 in the middle of the night, we see a car coming right towards us on the wrong side of the divider. We swerve just in time for him to miss us. As he ...

How to know when to sell TIPS and buy new ones
I have some TIPS that I bought a month ago that were at a YTM of 2.44% at the time. Now I see the yield has gone above 3.1% for TIPS on the secondary market so that got me wondering how to know when to switch out TIPS or if you ever should. The market value of the TIPS I bought has decreased so I wo...

Help with TIPS and rebalancing
If you have TIPS in your portfolio and plan on holding them to maturity , when you are determining the percent allocated to fixed income do you use the current market value of your tips or the adjusted principal (using the inflation factor). For example, I bought some 2.375% 20 year TIPS a couple we...

I did like you said when buying an 05 V6 Accord by using the edmunds site to email dealers around atlanta. I added in the comments the options I wanted and the invoice price - rebates and kickbacks and asked what the closest they could match to it. I got emails back from some of them. Most I came no...

Jefferson county's situation is why you take on more risk when you buy revenue bonds and do not buy general obligation bonds that are backed by taxes. There is another article on the coming defaulting of munis on bloomberg web site. Search for jefferson county. It was written on 10/3/2008. Sorry, no...

I live in Lawrenceville, Ga just outside of Atlanta and we have the same problem. We were traveling this weekend and I had to drive 30 minutes Friday night to find gas (and a line of cars). Of course, this morning when leaving there was gas 2 minutes from my house. Once we got about 20 miles of metr...

Is Equity in house part of real estate allocation?
Just discovered this board a week ago and have been reading a lot. Have been an asset allocation/index investor for a long time and wanted to get an opinion here on something. Do you consider the equity in your house as part of our your overall total investments that you apply toward asset allocatio...
