Google voice has no numbers left apparently. Even tried area codes from nearby states.
Yikes, now that really makes me want to use my GV number so they don't take it back. I wonder if they are reusing numbers that people let fall by the wayside?

Re: Google Voice, do unused numbers get deleted?

Thanks for the replies. My number has gotten very little use in 2 1/2 years so I guess I'll use it to call my home phone every month just so it is there if I need it. GV could be like throw away email addresses you use for stuff that you don't want your real emails/phone # being out there. I read at the site you can connect many phones to your 1 GV number so they go to 1 place. I set it up for texts to use with SSA until they realized that was dumb. It was good t...

Google Voice, do unused numbers get deleted?

I set up GV phone number a few years ago when the SSA had the brilliant idea to use 2FA and required you to get a text. A ton of older people (75+) probably have no idea what that is or how to do it or don't have a phone that can receive a text (my case). So I got a GV phone number that can receive ...

I sliced it and removed the flesh this morning. It is soft and probably as ripe as I'd want, too much longer and it might be turning. Not outstanding flavor but sweet. Like I said I equate this to an out of season tomato which is why the only fresh tomatoes I ever eat are grown in my garden.

The Ally 12-month rate of 2.25% isn't bad. The 1-year brokered rate at Fidelity is 2.35%. If you want to stick with Ally, the 1-year gives you 25 basis points more yield for adding 3 months of maturity. That comes to 100 basis points per extra year of maturity, which is an excellent term premium. A...
