Re: Apple Released a New Low-cost Iphone

No need to waste $300 for another iPhone. Have the original iPhone SE (can stand on it's edge, phone jack). Can do anything the SE2 do. I use DSLR to take serious photo, computer for browsing. Save your $300. I mean, no, a 2016 iPhone SE cannot do anything a 2020 iPhone SE can do. It may be able to...

The main use of FM Radio (I use the Motorola App) for me is professional sports games, which usually are not streamed over the internet. Motorola installed an app on your phone. Re: Apple Released a New Low-cost Iphone

The review I read in the WSJ made the point that the smaller phone necessitated a smaller battery, and battery life suffered as a result. On the whole, though, the review was very positive. The SE has a significantly smaller screen than the 11, so it should use less power, and would require a small...

Btw, my wife has struggled with her 32gb old SE, and since this new phone will likely have larger file size pictures and video, we will be getting either the 128 or 256 gb version. If at all possible I suggest looking into a natural gas 30-50 gal unit. They are more expensive to buy, and setting up a first gas unit in a house will have some extra cost, but even with that figured in it will be cheaper to operate over the 10-15+ year lifetime by far.

If you are coming from an SE then you probably prefer having a small phone. Today your best option is the iPhone 8, which is larger than your SE. It appears that they, Apple, prefer to have three sizes available at a time. Therefore, I really doubt they are bringing back the SE size. The 6s/7/8 size which is also effectively discontinued seems to be the more likely size to be brought back if they bring either older size back.

It looks like size wise, the SE is the smallest form still supported. Then you move up to the 6s, 7, and 8 which are a little bigger and all roughly the same size. One more move up, mostly in length, is the X, XS, and 11 Pro. Then XR and 11 share the size after that. Last are the 6s/7/8 pluses, XS M...

50 % of people nowadays get cremated after they die. With that burial is inexpensive, there is probably a thread here about costs, around $1000. So there is no life insurance required to cover those costs. Good point, if that is their wishes. If not, the expense will have to be paid from somewhere.
