A good plan is to scour lots for gains and losses. Sell one lot at a time to offset another sale which is a loser. If all that you have are gains, then think about the next move more carefully.

I still use an old copy of Acrobat 9 Standard. Allows you to copy as table, save as table, open table in spreadsheet.
Sometimes I copy and paste text only, and that seems to work. If the PDF is not formatted to be copied, then you end up with lots of work.

I use the DoD 5220-22.M option, which makes 3 passes. Very easy to use.
