Why should a member keep paying the same monthly fee when the owner probably isn't paying their staff or cleaning people? When they don't pay for heat, ac, etc. The owner of my gym, part of a franchise, drives a Mercedes. I froze my membership.

I sold a 2000 Corrola to Carmax because of rust. It only had 99000 miles. The brake line and the gas line had severe rust. My mechanic said that he couldn't fix the gas line.

I would pass. 2005 would have had optional side curtain airbags. Likely the LE doesn't have them, but you can check. 2005 has a timing chain, so that is one positive. No timing belt to change. I sold an old car to Carmax for $400. I could have gotten a few hundred more on Craigslist but it just wasn't worth it to me. They give you an offer that is valid for 7 days so you could take it in and see what they offer you for the car.

A mattress is definitely something that you want to spend a lot of money on considering how important sleep is and how much time you spend on a mattress. You might want to be frugal on other things but I would not be frugal on food, mattress, health, etc... that really impact your quality of life.

I recently sold a car to CarMax. They don't haggle and their offer is good for seven days. My car had a rusted gas line and the mechanic said that it wasn't worth fixing, so I didn't want to sell it on my own.

The market is so hot right now that it does not matter that much who you use. I would go with a real estate agent that had a low commission. Any licensed real estate agent can get you on the MLS.
