Regarding the seatbelt - I just had mine fixed by the dealer (Honda) on my car that had 160K. It was covered under lifetime warranty due to it dealing with the airbags i guess, you might check with Hyundai to see if it's covered. Good luck with your sale.

If you found eyeglasses you like at lenscrafter you can buy the frames online and bring them to walmart to have them put in the glass. I've used FramesDirect before and had no issues.

Getting HBO Go (you need to be subscribed to HBO)

Previously an active mutual fund investor who had no idea about diversification and asset allocation. Relied heavily on recent fund performance.

Turned boglehead four years ago, I believe converting to index funds was one of the my best financial decisions. So glad I found this place.

I like to travel, but when I look at overall travel costs (parking, airfare, hotel, food, rental car, dog boarding, activities) I often think what "things" that money could buy. The things I appreciate I wouldn't consider junk or wasteful, mostly for home improvement or to make life easier...

If you go the Costco route, keep in mind you need an active membership each year to keep the warranty and tire rotation in effect.

I don't have Costco, but have used BJs twice. I won't be going crazy looking at tire prices anymore, I think the warehouse clubs w/ coupon is the easiest.

Sorry to hear you still going through this. I posted my similar experience in your other thread and am now at American Express Bank. My NSF fee was actually covered by my checking account so I didn't bother trying to get the credit from Ally. Finally done with them.

I believe your cost basis is based on the date-of-death (DOD), so if you sell quickly there will be minimal gains/losses. Definitely transfer to a no-cost/low cost trading broker before selling.

I have Straight Talk from Walmart, the 1,000 minute plan. Comes out to a little over $30 a month including taxes. No problems, works great where I live. Beats paying over $50 a month for Verizon.
