Tankless Hot Water Heaters

Building a new 2 story home, approximately 2200 sq. ft. I am considering a tankless hot water system. Is it worth it? Seems I used to hear more about them a few years ago.

We're planning a new home & DW wants to have a combination laundry room & food pantry with a long table she could use to fold laundry & stock the pantry. Holding aside that DW wants this & a happy wife is a happy life, is this a good idea?

Re: Anyone use Fido as your bank?

I’m thinking about moving the remainder of my banking to Fido and getting a cash management account with them. I know the topic has come up here in the past but I couldn’t find the thread and had a couple of questions for those of you that use them. I’ve already called Fido but got slightly different answers and I’m hoping someone here might have a real world answer to these. 1. Can you do large cash deposits in some way? If I have 3-4k in cash for some reason, is there any way to deposit that with them? 2. When you use an ATM, does the receipt show your available balance as the available settled cash balance or the entire account balance? For example, say I have 100k in investments and 3k in settled cash. If I withdraw 1k, does it show av...

+2 for this. I've never had a bad experience. There's no room for "misunderstandings" such as FTD gave the wrong instructions, Proflowers showed a misleading picture on their site of what the arrangement actually is, etc.
I have great experience working through my local florist.

I have been in Fidelity's Private Client Group for several years. As you, I'm pretty much a do it yourself, mostly index funds type of investor. I have an account executive who I can call anytime for advice or just to bounce ideas off of. He usually calls me a couple of times a year to check in. He has never pushed any particular funds. There is no charge for this service. I appreciate having a professional to bounce ideas off of without being subject to a sales pitch.

Have they added the feature where you can pay some directly by entering the recipient's checking account number? So few banks have this, but to me it seems really useful. I am not aware of Fidelity supporting payments directly to a checking account, cellphone#, or email account. There probably is not that much demand for it from their customers - seems to be primarily an older crowd. Not sure I understand the question but under "Transfer Money/Shares" you can transfer money to a recipient's checking account. You identify the recipient's bank's routing number & the recipient's account number. I use it monthly. You are correct, but I am not sure how long it takes for Fidelity to validate the account prior to transfer. I though ...
