I recommend Mobile Read Forums. A wealth of info on e-books, a whole library of free books, and also great forums -- including one that focuses on free/discounted books.

I am 44; my DH is 54. Overall portfolio is 40/60 broken down as follows:

Equities
20% TSP C Fund/VTSMX
8% Small Cap - TSP S Fund/Vanguard Small Cap Value
12% FTSE All World-ex US/TSP I Fund


Bond/Cash
50% Cash (CDs earning 5% - 6.25%)
10% G Fund/I Bonds

Very simple.

I recently completed (one month ago) a transfer of an IRA TD Ameritrade to TSP. Use the form TSP 60 and it took just 2 - 3 weeks. The check went direct from TD Ameritrade to TSP. Use the TSP Form 60 I believe. No worries.
