Whitefish are an oily fish that are cut into steaks and placed into a large boiling caldron of salt water. Potatoes, onions, and carrots are all boiled in the same pot. At the end they flame the oil off the top and strain out the goods.

Some may argue this strategy but DW and I hold all of our “bond” exposure in the g fund. Given the extreme stability of this fund I also make the choice to be more aggressive on the equity side rather than chasing returns in other bond funds. This may be wrong but it works for us.
