Fiat reported earnings on the same day. It was not good news. Amazon wouldn't ship a recurring subscribe and save item to me saying it was out of stock without an alternative source. I can see that they sell the item to Prime Pantry members, so being Prime is not good enough either :)

The State Department is holding special passport acceptance fairs mostly for first time applicants. If you're near one of the towns on the list you can apply in person. I've experienced this. It was a much smaller amount involved so I don't remember the details but I remember the appearance of being debited twice. It's a system glitch that's self correcting. Log in again tomorrow and you should see the correct balances.

I bought some last week so I'll tell you my experience. The 10K was withdrawn in one transaction. I made my purchase in the morning and the bonds were in my account by the next business day.

We have had several intra-family loans among various members of my family. The OP's proposal is exactly what we do: split the rates down the middle and everybody's happy. I always shake my head when the "don't do it" posts show up. You know your family but your family's probably better than you think.

I use Toodledo and I think it meets all of your criteria except incrementing priority. Also recommend the book "Getting Things Done". It is an enormous relief to move all these items from your brain to task lists.

I priced the itinerary in http://matrix.itasoftware.com/ and all legs except the Santiago legs are priced in first class as the cheapest fare. I think it might be a systems issue. Give AA a call.

I think a really skilled and intuitive massage therapist can't be beat, but there aren't that many around, and they're not on Groupon. I like home options to supplement visits to the therapist. These look weird but they are really effective for the neck, shoulders, IT bands if you position them well...

Taxable = gross - pre-tax items (not FICA, but 401K, employee portions of medical, dental, vision, HSA). You should get pretty close if you just use the W2 gross figure in your paycheck and the Publication 15 percentage method tables for your pay frequency.

I merged my accounts in January and I can confirm that you can have Vanguard funds' dividends paid to your bank account directly, automatically. It's not through a recurring ACH transfer. You make the election from the dividends and capital gains link on the home page.

I think TD wants a medallion signature, correct? Not correct. A medallion guarantee is not required. Form can be signed by any "certifying officer" at any bank or credit union. But it must be done "in person" at that institution. I called a local bank and made an appointment. No problem; no charge....

Sorry, you didn't ask, but these packages often come with the opportunity to meet and greet with the team, or just informal chats at the hotel bar. If the team is staying in one of these hotels that's where you would want to stay.

High school teaches you to read and to follow simple instructions. What else do you need for the 1040EZ? You can figure out the 1040A with a little practice on the 1040EZ, then just tack on a few more pieces of knowledge for the 1040.

It's not ML it's your employer. My ML 401k has great options and just got better again this year. Asking your Benefits Committee to add a couple of index funds would be a lot easier to accomplish.

There's an annual Passport Day when you can have your passport renewed without an appointment on a Saturday.
