I have a question about Firecalc SS input. It asks for my SS input in "todays" dollars. I referenceced my SS Statement, but it seems to give my SS benefit based on future dollars. Excellent book. Very detailed. Loved how McCullough used the letters that Adams, his wife, and Jefferson wrote to each other. His book on Dwight Eishenhower is equally informative and enjoyable.

I have not read any studies, but my Volvo MX manual and discussions with the service department support longer oil change intervals with synthetic oil. Volvo is 7500 miles or 1 year depending on driving conditions and your driving habits.

Lived on base most of my career so I've had about a five minute commute. Sure helps with my 5:30am show times. But, I have had a 30-45 min commute before and it was OK. You kinda get in the "zone" and "wake up" as you drive in the gate. :D

Its a beautiful sunny day now, but the roads got a good layer of ice from freezing drizzle last night. The bridges and over passes are really icy so most schools and gov't offices are closed. Will be fine by the end of the day as the temps warm up on into the weekend.
