I have been retired about 8 years, my money is still in my 457 plan. I have all that money in a stable value/ fixed income investment. It held up great during the crash 08/09. It has paid a guaranteed interest of 3.5% per year. In good times it was over 5%... Not bad when you look at CD's and such. ...

You might try looking at credit unions. Not sure how well they work within IRA,s though. I'm working with taxable money. We own a single member LLC and it does come on a K1.
Has been for years.
edit: On another thought, the company we own shares in, is a multi partner corp. so your point is correct.
We hold those shares under a single member LLC.
So the income is reported to us on a K1.
