When I was in a condo (6 unit), monthly and any special assessments were allocated to units by % ownership. You state you are pressured into 1/3 split with the 3 units, however shouldn't you only pay 20% of any expenses?

I have a 2013 Limited 2.5 with 75k on clock. Currently undergoing its second oil consumption test. Oil light has come on during each oil change interval and the last one came on twice (after refilling). It burned 2 quarts in 6500 miles.

Other than that the car has been fine.

One thing to be cautious of: Taxis charge 1.5x rate for suburbs. I learned this after a flight at ORD was cancelled while I was at airport and my normal limo was unavailable. Never had good results with an electric smoker -- I've recently gone over to a pellet style smoker grill-- it's been great. We did 780 miles from IL to SC with a 4yo and 2.5yo. NEVER AGAIN.

My son started getting carsick 80 miles into the trip. My wife spend majority of trip in back seat wedged between two cars seats. I am shaking just typing this.

One cost reduction tip:
Buy a cordless Dremel with sanding wheel to trim nails. Used to take our dogs in regularly for nail trims as we have a lot of hardwood flooring. $35 Dremel and we can do 2 dogs in 5 minutes without ever hurting them by cutting too short. It is super easy.

My proven (by myself) method to avoid this issue:

1. Do taxes in TurboTax in January.
2. File said taxes in March. (April if you owe).

Gives plenty of time to catch this little issues and update.
