I may be too late but check the impedance of the speakers before you buy and if the amp has enough power to drive the speakers.
4 ohm speakers would need a higher powered amp compared to a 6 ohm and an 8 ohm speaker.

Yes, you should have it checked out by an independent mechanic.

Hello everyone, We own a 2010 Honda Odyssey with 130,000 miles. KBB trade in value of $7,681 as of 9.4.2016. The car is making loud engine noise which we will be taking it in for evaluation The noise could be due to a bad muffler which is very cheap to fix. I would not give up on a 6 year old Honda.
