I usually use a local Publix pharmacy for my refills and their prices are almost the same as going mail order. I'm currently taking 4 drugs and they're all generics. Neilpilot, great idea asking my pharmacist about the plans. They're the guys in the trenches dealing with this stuff.

If you don't get Global Entry in time for your trip, consider Mobile Passport. It's a free app that also expedites passage through US Customs and can be used at 25 major US airports.

Be careful using Vice Grips on a soft metal fitting. Too much pressure can deform the fitting making it even harder to remove. I have had great success getting stuck threaded fittings apart with PBblaster. Readily available in hardware, auto and home centers.
