Re: H&R Block: 1099-INT not showing up on Schedule B
If your total interest is less than $1,500, Schedule B is not required to report the interest payers. I used HRB software, had total interest of more than $1,500, and my Schedule B shows the info from my 1099-INT statements. Similarly, I had total dividends of more than $1,500 and Schedule B shows in the info from my 1099-DIV statements. My total interest/dividends is over 1500, but my interest is less than 1500 wtih the dividends being over 1500. Only the dividends show up on schedule B since it is over 1500, but not interest since mine is less than 1500? This site says it is separately 1500. https://www.fulleredu.com/taxblog/when-is-a-schedule-b-required-to-be-attached-to-a-form-1040-return/ Only site i could find that talks about it

Re: H&R Block: 1099-INT not showing up on Schedule B
I read the instructions, and the threshold is $1500. Not sure if that is interest and dividend combined or separate. My interests dont go over 1500, but my dividends do.

H&R Block: 1099-INT not showing up on Schedule B
Hello,
I was reviewing the pdf from H&R block free file and noticed that my 1099-INT was not listed on schedule B (the total amount is correct on form 1040). I also have 1099-DIV which are listed on schedule B. I havent clicked submit yet. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks

Disability Ins- Resident physician
My annual premium is almost due for my disability insurance. I don't know too much about disability ins, so wanted to see if this plan is worth continuing. I will be a 2nd year resident, so this will be my second year of paying for this policy. I am 27 years old. I know disability ins is necessary for a physician, so just wanted to make sure I am getting a good price for it. Thanks!

Re: Tried to get Equifax credit report
I've gotten credit reports since 2010. This is the first time this has happened to me. I can't check the other ones because it hasn't been one year yet. Nothing worrisome on Capital One's transunion credit score thing.

Tried to get Equifax credit report
Tried to get my annual Equfax credit report. It asked me 4 identification questions about auto loan and mortgage which I've never had, and answered none of the above. It didnt allow me access to my report and asked me to send in identification documents. Should I be worried about this?

Re: magazines for frequent-flyer miles ripoff
you didnt get ripped off. you just didnt read the fine print. at least for AA, if you use miles and pay an additional $2 for certain magazines, it will do auto renewal. if you just use miles without having to pay extra it wont. it repeats this at least 3 times before you confirm the subscription

No, you can either enter it manually, or you can download from the CC sites manually and upload the data.cherbob85 wrote:Does YNAB connect to credit cards to download transactions and categorize them?

Mine took like 2-3 days for the email to come555 wrote:Just got this card (I think). Credit limit only about $6k maybe because I opened a couple of other cards very recently.
Anyway, I went through all the web pages, and it seemed approved and final. But I haven't got any kind of confirmation email after a few hours. Does anyone who got this remember a long delay getting a confirmation email, or if there just wasn't such an email?

Re: Expense tracking software with mobile app
Sounds like YNAB is still the best option for you. You can wait until the summer steam sale to get it for around $15. or you can try to attend their online webinars and try to win a free copy. you can track your net worth with YNAB as well

For me, on the "my home" page you can see the personal performance graph. Underneath it, it says "performance details". I just clicked on that and then onto "investment prices and returns" and there are all the returns of my fund(s) including: YTD and 1,3,5 and 10 year returns.
Since starting investing with Vanguard in April 2012: 13.1%
And YTD returns: 4.69%

I've tried to get my mom out of one once, didn't end up happening due to so much fees involved. But we made a bunch of money out of it in the end since the REIT had IPO. It was also from COLE.
