Re: Flying to Hawaii with an overnight or two on the West Coast
My experience year before Covid was Very good in San Diego. I have done lay overs in S Fransico years ago. SD airport is close to downtown ,you could uber or whatever into town to sights . Depending on time of layover you could choose which ones could be done in the day or time frame . If day arrival you could walk and see harbor, USS Midway ,Star of india, maritime museum ,have early dinner at little italy .

2 trees as described are about 3-4000 lbs. Cut up to move and dump or split would require moving pcs 2 or 3 times and then cleanup and small branches. Split would require a additional move in stacking . If you can do it ,it is a good workout .

I would assume most straight skis you find with bindings would be old enough that ski shops won't do any service on the bindings. Nothing wrong with straight skis if that's what you want. I still keep a pair of K2's from the 90's for snowkiting ,but I have to keep the bindings serviced myself .

Re: Maui - things to do for 6 day trip
Not a big fan of Hana trip ,always a traffic jam at narrow bridges, behind multiple slow waterfall photographers . The crater is great for a sunset and stay late for the stars +1 for a star app . A full day- after 11 am stop by Kanaha park next to airport on windy days Kitesurfing, windsurfing, wing foiling . Head to Paia for lunch and ck out Hookipa beach park . If windy best windsurfers in the world, maybe V big waves . sort of a stadium sitting of bluff at lifeguard station to see the action .Go back to Paia take Baldwin up the mountain to Makawao , stop and visit ,maybe dinner. Head up to crater for sunset and stars . South shore at Kihei there is surf lessons for their ages, at Maalaea there is the Maui ocean ctr. Aquarium /Mini golf ....

I met with a 2nd home owner I work for at his 5 +million dollar new home ,new R rover ,truck ,etc. He is in finance .Said he was stretched and to keep things done to a minimum this year. I'm fine with 300k in mortgages on 5 properties with a value of 6 million conservatively ,3.5mil invested ,NO other debt. Talked about GME as a joke ,he was surprised I followed Reddit at my age . Never brought up anything about my investments or situation ,I drive a 12year old truck .I know enough to keep myself out of trouble in investing and throw a few terms around but generally don't say much .I'm comfortable with that LOL
