You shouldn't have to. I gather from reports that the transition from Intuit to Quicken servers wasn't ideal, but it should save your new Quicken ID. There was a recent update, R15.1. It may fix your sign-in problems.
There is no problem; one must sign into Quicken whenever the venture capitalists demand it.

That depends on what the company match is, what investments are offered and at what expense ratio. There is a vast difference in plans. A good plan invested the Boglehead way is preferable to an annuity, which a defined benefit plan is. The big difference is you get to take the money with you when you die.

The PBGC covers pensions 100% up to $5,906.25 a month at age 66.

You have a contract and federal law to protect you. No one can take away what you have vested in a pension plan. As for health care or other benefits a company can pull them at anytime if there is no contract.

When my former employer did away with defined benefit plans they increased the company match in the 401k considerably. You will do just fine if you invest the Boglehead way. It's like taking the lump sum.

I assume you are not a represented employee. They can't take back what you have vested in the defined benefit plan. All companies are doing away with defined benefit plans and switching to defined contribution plans. Depending on the company match and investment choices you can do better investing on your own. Some companies want out of defined benefit plans so much they are buying annuities from insurance companies to take over their pension obligation. They want a know expense going forward.

Paris Hilton is pump n' dump a new "coin". "Coin" mania will end soon. Bogleheads having a Wiki shows the end is near.

Not sure I agree.
I said Mayberry is the exception not the rule.

No. I also don't count my snow blower in my net worth.

I'm talking about the money changers. They never go to jail, in fact they get bailed out.

That is a "fake" scholarly paper site. Anyone can submit anything and they will publish it. The "it's" in the title was placed by the web site. Its spelled correctly in the scholarly paper. Shocking fake stuff on the Interweb.

Posted September 8, 2017: Although we sometimes use Equifax to help verify your identity when setting up a my Social Security account, Social Security never shares Social Security numbers with Equifax. For concerns regarding the Equifax data breach, please contact Equifax directly at 866-447-7559 or www.equifaxsecurity2017.com.
Social Security gave Equifax your SS number in order to check your ID. If governments are using Equifax this explains why no one ever goes to jail.
