Re: Is there a good website(s) or resources for used car reviews?

I read somewhere on the thread about car forum comments - you can research your vehicle let's say Toyota Avalon, truck, etc. Lexus, Mazda, etc. on its own individual forum and read about owners' experiences/problems/fixes. Also I found Edmunds tended to have honest reviews with a 1-2 paragraph story...

I asked at a CVS today and they said "We only have the 2nd shot at this time' - but if it's the same shot, I wonder why one cannot get the 2nd as the 1st one....
I'm thinking it might be covered under Medicare (part "B"? But there's that deductible). Otherwise it's around 100.00.

Sort of a tiny detail, but in the film "The Wife," in which Glenn Close was excellent (really they all were good actors), her daughter had light green eyes, and Close has dark brown eyes. I guess I was the only one thinking that since her daughter was portraying the younger version of her character,...

Re: Medigap Plan F Extra (California)

I have considered this Blue Shield "Plan f extra' but I think it'd only be a good deal for one year because the 20.00 discount would go away and the regular price for it at this time is 167.00 in our area so it might go up a bit from there the following year (?). I have read the cautionary threads a...

Green Book.
Good film.
More interesting to go find out more about the real Don Shirley. He did in fact live in an apt. above Carnegie Hall for 50 years and had to move out in his later years to elsewhere in Manhattan. There's a photo of the place in an article .... it was quite elaborate.

California. I was told that the 'birthday rule' allows an individual to switch at that window of time to an equal or lesser medigap plan - you just can't upgrade - without underwriting process to do so - but I don't know, could they change that later on? There's something to be said for picking a pl...

Re: Will Medigap plan F become a 'death spiral'?

This is an informative thread. However, for someone who hears people (not just here, but elsewhere) say that 'you should take F' if it's a good deal, and change later if I wish, or, some say no, do not do 'F", just pick "G" first (I'm newly into Medicare later this year), because of what's described...

Thx for the responses.
From what I have looked at so far, it seems that the employer based offering is more expensive. I will keep researching this but so far, it appears that the employer one is charging more money for MA plans than they normally are.
Thx for the input.

Hi, I've been reading the forum about Medicare issues .... I'm in the midst of researching options.
