Ball machine. Hit thousands of balls per day for tennis. Not sure if there is anything like this for squash. Yes, they do have ball machines for squash.. Challenge for me is finding the motivation to use them.. That's why I like to play weaker players instead and use them a bit like ball machines.....

Also the "rule of 55" enables penalty free withdrawals from 401-K of the employer you separated from at/after age 55. You can't do that from a prior employer 401-K or from an IRA under that particular exemption. I googled this rule of 55 and seems it does not apply to me. I was laid off at age 40.

If you move it to the current employer plan, you cannot roll it over until you separate from the employer. After you reach age 70 1/2, only the current employer plan is exempt from RMD. Thanks for the replies. It is interesting to hear the range of perspectives. It did not collapse due to over-load. One of the plastic support clips snapped and then everything came undone.. Anyways, I do not want to get into technical discussion of what happened.

Because through their labor they can help Google earn multiples of that number. Otherwise they are waste. Maybe I'm cynical but I don't think our "unique skills" are what makes us valuable. Almost all 3'rd world countries have a "local" rate and a "foreigner" rate.. Sure the local rate is cheap, but foreigners will be charged a lot more for everything. Even if you vacation to a third world country, everything will cost just as much or more than the US..

I get several of these emails from Fidelity every year, with the subject "Your new shareholder report is available online".. I mostly ignore them. Sometimes I open to verify the expense ratio is what I think it is, i.e 0.1% or less. Should I be reading them in more detail?

I had a Dahon D7 and put a few thousand miles on it before it got stolen . Bought another one, but lost the itch to do commuting anymore so ended up selling it.. I would stick with a quality brand. Many investor owned units ( more than 10-20% ) = BAD

Best to buy a condo where renting is not allowed.
