DW tells me she has seen our Echo "activated" a few times when a commercial for Echo came on the TV nearby and one of the actors said "Alexa!"

Nobody can predict whether it will be a great experience for you or not. If you think you will enjoy it, go. If you don't, stay at home and work instead. It would not be a close decision for me at all. I don't regret going to any concert I have ever attended. I regret a bunch that I have missed. YMMV.

I agree that the constant moving around is extremely unproductive. Especially for your 8 year old. No place is perfect in terms of schools, housing, weather, neighbors, politics, traffic, diversity, etc. Pick a place that you really like and put down some roots +1 Don't let the tail wag the dog.

IME, the other dealers will tell you they can get the car you want in that color, but they will simply be swapping inventory with the dealer who has it already.
