Just an idea - see if there are any other computers/phones/etc that might be somehow receiving the text messages and marking them as read. Maybe your old blackberry is still connected to your phone number in some way for example. This isn't a bad idea. Something may have gone wonky with the porting...

I'm no expert, but if you end up depositing actual cash money, I might consider splitting it into 2 deposits to clarify that one is from your father, and one is from your stepmother. Of course then you'd have 2 cash deposits over 10,000, but it wouldn't be structuring because you wouldn't be avoidi...

It depends. I never consider card X against card Y as the importance is in how does card X mesh with my other cards vs card Y. One card is a cash back card (BofA) and the other is a travel card (CSR). It 100% depends on what the individual needs from the card. As far as strictly cash back, the 2.62...

You never get an upfront tax deduction with a Roth IRA. It is after-tax money that then grows tax free as well as no taxes on future withdrawals. A traditional IRA is before-tax money that is then taxed on withdrawal. If your income is over the limit for a Roth IRA, you can't contribute directly to ...
