Plan to work full time to full retirement age (67).

Formula is Age-25 = X% in fixed income (TIAA Traditional).

Currently at 25% fixed income.

My wife works for a small-ish independent school where their 403b is with TIAA-CREF. Because of the school's small size and T-C's new fees, her investment options all carry pretty high expense rations (ER's from .51% in the CREF equity offerings to .79% for Real Estate -- ones I don't use like TIAA...

I looked at the posts in [Why did my fund suddenly drop in value?].

That same link has worked for March, June, and September 2018 distributions. Presumably, it will also work for December 2018 distributions.

When I log into TIAA, it says that the current rates are 3.25% for the liquid version of TIAA Trad. and 4.0% for the illiquid version. Where is the 3.5% the OP is referring to?
