Another vote for the LiftMaster 8500. Recently converted all of my doors to them. Way cleaner and more functional not having a center track.

Designated Roth 401(k) contributions show up in Box 12 code AA even though they are not a taxable event, so I was thinking this might be similar. But I do not see an appropriate code.

I'd also run the numbers using a margin loan. Likely a lower interest rate (with IB at least) and less hassle. Depends on the specifics though.

It should be an additional $500 annually for EF to run the New Comparability Method calculations. One challenge is that it can be difficult to understand what the results will be ahead of time, since there are many factors that go into the calculation.

Consider looking into a margin account if you have a taxable portfolio. Interactive Brokers currently charges 1.62%, and the rate decreases substantially as the loan balance increases.

Get the 50/1.4 instead. It's worth the premium over the 1.8, especially for the better construction, but is a quarter the price of the 1.2.

I've been very happy with ZenPayroll (zenpayroll.com). Their online interface is way better than any of the others I've used, and their email support is extremely responsive. Looks like it's $29 per month ($348 per year) for single employee payroll. They're not in every state though.
