We just booked an Alaskan Celebrity Cruise in July through Crucon. We received a free drink package, all gratuities and a few hundred dollars of on board credit. We used them for a cruise to the Western Meditteranean last year and loved it.

I believe current thinking is that bonds should cover roughly 10 years of expenses. We're retired, in late 60s and are at 50/50.

I've held this Fidelity fund for years and have no complaints. https://fundresearch.fidelity.com/mutual-funds/summary/316390822 No Apple, no Amazon, no Facebook. Maybe one can live without those, but no Alphabet (Google)? That's not really a "technology" play in the way people probably mean it here...

DW and I were both working then, so we didn't panic...we stayed the course at 50/50. Retired in 2011 and stayed the course with no changes (50/50). Things are good 8 years later :happy

Live your life. Just hit my eighth year in retirement and things are good. We've lost some relatives and friends and really feel it's stupid to obsess over financials with numbers like yours. Enjoy...before you know it, you'll be looking back and saying "What me worry"?

Moved to gulf coast of FL two years ago and are very happy. Cost of living is much less than what I was used to on Long Island. Today I played 2 hours of tennis went out for a small lunch and just spent a couple of hours at the pool. Life is good :)

I have a 2017 Civic Hatchback 4 door/4 cylinder and love the way it drives...very sporty with turbo engine; ~35 mph. Can't speak for the Insight but have owned Hondas since 1983 and have no major issues.

I hold my investments at Fidelity and Vanguard (largely). This evolved mainly from companies that I worked for not with any particular goal in mind. Since I have no compelling reason to change--I'm a slice and dicer--I'll probably keep both.
