I have family in trades and they tell me stories of appreciation of a coffee in the morning or cold water on a hot day once in awhile from their customers. A gift card to McDonald’s or Dunkin’ Donuts for the trash hauler would be nice once in awhile.

For my home, No. We are shaded by trees making solar pretty much useless and our cost of electricity is not that high. Have you sought three quotes for coverage? Maybe USAA has higher risk in Texas and charges more. When first starting out, spouse and I had the inlaws brand insurance in the same metro. Take the train to Boston from Middleboro and walk to the Aquarium or Children’s Museum. Get lunch at the Boston Public Market, kind of like a indoor farmers market. That’s a big day for the kids.

Edit- the Museum of Science is excellent for kids, plenty of space to spread out on a rainy day.

You really can’t tell. You could do a tank integrity test but probably costly for a residence. Your state environmental agency might have some guidance for homeowners with oil tanks. An outdoor tank is a much higher risk.

Never heard of it. How old is your tank? If 20+ years old consider replacing proactively.

FYI most spills are caused from overfills from the truck, leaking pipe connections, not the tank itself.

Family has had all kinds of small boats and we like Japanese engines the most-Yamaha, Tohatsu, Suzuki.
