Re: Hatchback to match Camry on price/comfort/reliability?

For me the Subaru crosstrek ticks the 'oh how cute and practical it looks' box. :) We recently bought our second Crosstrek. (Long story...) Overall it is a very useful and functional little runabout with enough 'odd factor' (boxer engine, true AWD, relatively uncommon here) that I, as a car guy, ca...

Re: WOW fantastic Cars in the Wild

Seriously pretty much zero of the AMG cars make sense (exception maybe for the GT-S). You aren't going to take them to the track and the power and no one driving on the street has a need for the level of performance the AMG models offer. They are all about branding. Agreed. I have seen that one. I am still waiting to see the R63. You know when Mercedes went out an made a 500 HP minivan that went 0-60 in 4.5s. My understanding is that they sold about 50 in the US. R63 makes absolutely no damn sense - and I've heard they are a maintenance nightmare, even by AMG standard...

My only experience is with the Crosstrek. In our case, it was the cheapest way into an AWD crossover.
