my 30 year old alarm clock has turned itself into a clock only -- which is ok as it has big numbers that i can easily see at night.

i use alexa as my alarm clock...

and if my wifi should happen to be down my cell phone is also used as a backup.

i pay for a digital subscription.

i prefer to read the real newspaper -- but i travel frequently -- and i don't want newspapers sitting in the driveway telling the crooks i'm not home. they're not very good at vacation stops and starts -- and many of my trips are spur of the moment.

wow -- sounds like something has to be wrong.

every dishwasher i've owned has cleaned like it should. i won't get a maytag again, though, it had a design flaw that required that the door latch be replaced ever 12-18 months. the repair guy had seen this issue at other homes.

when i saw the thread title i knew that truffles and gold was coming -- seen too many cooking shows.

i don't care how much $ ya got -- but 2K for a pizza is wasteful -- and i don't waste money. that money would go a long way at a shelter that feeds the hungrey.
