My husband just passed away in a nursing home in CT. We didn't qualify for Medicaid and had to private pay. The charge was $541 a day and the total amount paid was almost $70,000

I'm retired and live in CT my Delta Dental is $45.50 per month, $50 deductible and $1000 max. My dentist is out of network and am wondering if this insurance is worth it. My husband pays the same amount as I do.

Why are people so down on Wellesley. Many people who own it, including myself, are retired and need that mix. In fact, Wellesley has perfomed better than VTSAX Total Stock Market Admiral YTD. I own VTSAX and VBTLX but am thinking of adding to Wellesley.

thank you for the feedback. i receive ss but do not have a pension, according to the vanguard portfolio analysis i should have 50% more in a bond fund and 5% more in stocks. the problem is there are so many bond funds i am totally confused what to choose. i do have 84K in wellesley admiral in my ira...

i need advice about what to do with $250,000 i have in a money market account. i have no debt and am retired. i have 40K in dividend stocks in a taxable account 32K in vmmxx taxable account 13K in vtsax roth ira my ira as follows 84K in vwiax 23K in vym 16K in vcsh 12K in brk.b 250K in vmmxx should ...
