With your income you should pay down the debt in 5 years and start saving now for the down payment. Buy the $1.2M house after you save the $120k down, have a 1 year cash buffer, and have thus proven you can live below your means. I use Tick Tick. They have an Android app (with a great scrollable list widget) and a Google Chrome extension, so I have everything synced using my Google account. http://ticktick.com/

Please reconsider. Tapatalk is a very useful, highly functional app to access forums. From what I read, implementation is simple and just requires installing a plugin.

I really hope Google Fiber makes more of an impact in the US in the coming years. The slow and expensive internet available to most people, primarily due to locally enforced monopolies, is getting really ridiculous.
