Not sure i eant to drive manual car in Rio traffic. I haven't driven in Rio, but have in São Paulo. I don't find it to be any more difficult than driving in Boston. In many ways, it is safer because traffic moves slower there. You just have to look out for the motoboys. Also automatic cars are beco...

My wife is from São Paulo. She says that the guys from Rio are kind of lazy. Too busy going to the beach to work late. But, it does seem that in general white collar workers work longer hours in Brazil than the US. Rio is a beautiful city that is going through a difficult time. I'm sure that you wil...

Skip the kids and leave it all for the grandkids. My father is an only child. At his request, my grandmother left all of her money for his children and none for him. If you live long enough your children will be retired before you die and won't have much use for the money anyway.

yes, one of the advantages of being a doctor is the ability to work fewer days in the week. The extra day with your children will be worth the lower income. If it seems not to be a good choice you can change back, no?

If you enjoy a job you are more likely to be successful at it.
Management consulting can be very lucrative if you are good at it.
