Re: Help with Indexed Universal Life Policy!

Update: We called them. The anniversary date isn't until the end of November. The rep said it was only going up 44 cents a month. I saw no value in her keeping it so she started the surrender process. They said she will get a form in the mail within 15 business days to sign. Thank you for your help!

About 12 years ago I developed a pattern of not being able to sleep. 2 things helped tremendously: A sleeping mask and a fan. I picked up both at Target I believe. Now I can't sleep without either. Yes, your girlfriend and her mother have paid $13k and can only get $3k out. It’s not criminal - but it’s also not in your girlfriends best interest to continue the policy. Unless your girlfriend has people besides herself who depend on her income, she doesn’t need life insurance. If she does have ...

Many of the responses reinforce my feelings about a first car, it will probably be in an accident! I currently drive a 2016 4-Runner, not a good vehicle to pass on to the kiddo. Personally, I think most kids don't appreciate something unless they have worked for it. Have your kid get a job and then do a $1 for $1 match with them, then whatever they save up match it. Then look for cars in that price range. When I was 15 I got a job, worked weekends, then worked the entire su...
