Re: Alternative to Google Finance? [Portfolios feature deprecated]

It's been a long time coming, but I was finally kicked off using the old Google Finance this week. I used Google Finance for portfolio tracking, but one feature I particularly liked was the ability to compare the performance of two or more stocks, ETFs or mutual funds over time. For example, I could...

Re: Optum is taking over my HSA.

I've called Optum about this. Apparently the former Wells Fargo HSA customers are segregated into a different plan than other Optum customers. The former Wells Fargo group is forced to participate in overpriced Wells Fargo investment options. Unless Optum changes the investment options, the only sol...

Re: Optum is taking over my HSA.

I'm not seeing the Vanguard investment options in my Optum HSA. Only Wells Fargo funds.

Re: 457/401k Asset administrative fee

That fee sounds great, and it's a positive sign that the custodian is straightforward about the (low) fee they do charge. I've seen 0.20% administrative fee on a 457 and also thought that was good.

It could be worse -- you aren't limited to selecting funds with 0.70%-1%+ expense ratios.

Re: Optum is taking over my HSA.

I previously had a Wells Fargo HSA and have been transferred to Optum HSA. Just received my new debit card today and enrolled on the site. Although others report having access to Vanguard Admiral funds, I see no Vanguard investment options in my plan. The majority of the funds I have access to are W...

Re: Vanguard Yodlee Aggregator not working

I used moneycenter.yodlee.com to aggregate my accounts, including ones at Vanguard. I did not notice any outages as you described during this timeframe. My guess the issue was particular to the Yodlee implementation through Vanguard than a more general Yodlee issue.

Re: How to invest HSA with Wells Fargo?

I received notice from Wells Fargo that they are shutting down their HSA business and selling it to another bank. I chose Wells Fargo because I had no monthly account fee and had access to an Index Fund for a 0.25% annual fee. Apparently it was not a huge money maker for them. What's the next best p...

Re: Anyone feel like talking "R"

I'm starting to look at the PerformanceAnalytics package in R. I've been enjoying this series from Capital Spectator:

I could be convinced to work through that class with you!
