The Honda CR-V may be the ride for you. All the reviews I have read name it the best compact crossover out there. The EX-L trim has features found in $50,00 plus Euro cars with better gas mileage and much lower maintenance cost. I'll be getting one in 2019.

I have custom built $4000 desktop computer overclocked and water cooled just to run Microsoft Flight Simulator under realistic conditions. MSFS won't run on anything newer than W7. I can't beat W10 away with two sticks. Dang you Microsoft! :x :x

If you are on the west side of the Cascades, a heat pump is the way to go. As an added bonus you get air conditioning for the few summer days when it's nice to have.

Many newer cars have significantly reduced spring tension on the piston rings to reduce friction and improve gas mileage. This will often result in increased oil consumption. This will not, however result in oil puddeling on the driveway. Something else is wrong.
