Choosing a REIT: index fund or ETF?

I would like to have some property investment (especially since I don't own any personal property) so I'd like to invest in a REIT. I am looking at VGSIX or VNQ, but I'm open to other suggestions. VGSIX is an index fund and VNQ is an ETF. Here is the info on the two funds: https://personal.vanguard....
