The expense ratios are really not bad at all. Your asset allocation matter so much more, as does your savings rate. I wouldnt worry about it for a long time.

I've discovered that there are people here really dont like their job (or perhaps any job), based on several threads. I like my job, so i feel less pressure to retire. Its nice. Nevertheless, i understand that not everyone has jobs they like, and that may drive more savings perhaps. I wonder.

OK it went through, equifax gave me a 10 digit pin, but the other agencies allowed me to choose a pin. Any issues with that? does that sound right?

What do you use to monitor credit reports?

I dont buy on cost, i buy on ROI. iphones have an incredible ROI for me in time, convenience, access, work, and features. I will likely buy. Never had one that didnt have a huge ROI. Way more than any index fund. YMMV.

depends more on your income, interests, and desire for newer tech vs. cost savings. I dont think there is a time. Some lease every 3 years, some buy every 5, some hold forever. Depends on income, needs, desires. Hard to be objective.

Ive owned porsche and BMW that were less costly than some of the F150s at our Ford dealer's lot. Millionaire next door talks about f150, as if it is cheaper than german sports sedans. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

i saw a thread in which the SWR was decried by people here, because it doesnt consider inflation. I think that there are contradictory answers to the safe SWR. is it inflation indexed? Indexed to healthcare costs? Not indexed? Doesnt make sense, so i ignore that advice.

stocks yield (S&P) is similar to intermed term tax exempt. So those dividends are taxable, and the muni equivalent to taxable yield is good for high tax brackets.

For this and many other reasons, it doesnt always make sense to have bonds in tax deferred

you've done well, and probably better than most here with your intuition, real estate, cryptocurrencies, etc. I wouldnt give all that up for a 3 fund portfolio. You are diversified in many different things.

I have owned some exotic sports cars, and the clutch has had a friction point that i felt was easier to feel with driving shoes. However, with japanese, korean, US cars, or german sports cars, I dont think it is necessary.
