Don't confuse syncing services (google drive, dropbox..etc) and true backup solutions that come with (versioning). I use google drive to access some files from anywhere. We love our instant pot and never use the slow cooker. It is great to make chili in for one thing. Also rice, hard boiled eggs and baked potatoes. I just bought some Quicurry from Amazon and plan to try it in the instant pot soon.

I went to school in Santa Barbara (UCSB) and would have (should have?) stayed there, but the job market is not all that great. I would pick it over Florida in any case, assuming you have the employment opportunity. It is the US version of the French Riviera - beautiful.

We saved about $120k per child in 529's. Both ended up attending public schools, but out of state. Both received merit scholarships from those schools - not huge but something. We ended up having to fund about $15k more out of our pockets for DS #1. Not sure on DS #2 yet as he is still in school but...

I'm also thinking about trying out Illy's IperEspresso system. The trouble is finding a place to actually try the coffees. We have the Illy machine and I prefer the output to Nespresso. The most important thing has been covering it after use so that it does not rust due to rain or snow. I think Webers are generally stainless steel and not prone to rust. I really want one, but the battery life has kept me away. My Fitbit can last 4-5 days on a charge. I like to wear my watch 24/7 and having to charge it daily would be a pain.
