The most important thing about doing work remotely is the state where the work is located. Inverness is a very good airport to fly out of because it does not have the 78 pound departure tax, at present.

Back in 2013, I did a refinance where the quoted rates were also 3.25. Because my loan was around $80,000, I was told the rate would be .625 higher because of the small size of the loan, and I was able to refinance with no cash outlay at 3.875%.
