I think I read or watched Warren Buffet say, dig gold from earth, make gold blocks, dig earth to save gold and add security to guard the gold, there is no real products produced from the gold, hence not an investable asset. My thoughts Gold is a good inflation protection for people in developing countries… The comment ends with another of Buffett’s well-known lines on gold, which he’s repeated in various ways over the years: “The idea of digging something up out of the ground, you know, in South Africa or someplace and then transporting it to the United States and putting into the ground, you know, in the Federal Reserve of New York, does not strike me as a terrific asset.” Warren Buffett on gold : "I will say this about gold. Even thought not needed, we are sending all the pay checks to 401 K and invest in taxable account for the current year.

Withdrawing for expenses from a different taxable account, just to be physiologically prepared for no pay check comes in regularly and we can withdraw from investments for living...

Next may be withdraw the yearly expenses and see how it goes .... expenses are mostly similar with outliners as always... travel, home improvements, etc..

If your portfolio can accommodate to pay the mortgage and other expenses for the house for sure yes….

For example if you have $1 M in taxable go ahead and purchase a $1.5 home so you can pay the mortgage out of capital gains or even from the invested capital in times when you do not have your paycheck coming in or stock options do not own out well…

Overall mortgage is good debt when managed well and not too overboard.

My assumption adding this year 401K contribution to Roth 401 K.

In few years if and when I roll over to ROTH IRA and if it grows exponentially can I enjoy tax free both the contributions and growth…

Withdrawal of rollovers from designated Roth accounts (Roth 401k) is a little more complicated and depends on how the money got into the Roth 401k.
Just what is it you want to do?

I have an older ROTH IRA, which was funded after tax dollars, this year starting the younger ROTH 401 K the source is payroll...

Later in a few years can can rollover the ROTH 401 K into the older ROTH IRA or do need to keep-it separate in a different Rollover ROTH IRA...

Miostly want to understand when we can use the ROTH, without paying any taxes...

Withdrawals must be taken after a five-year holding period.

Are these two requirements accurate for a Roth IRA?

Aren't these two rules more like "allowable" (when there might be restrictions or penalties earlier) rather than required?

Also, what does "Withdrawals must be taken after age 59½" have to to do with avoiding an early withdrawal penalty?

Roth IRA 5 year rule, what if I move Roth 401 K to an existing Roth IRA

Roth IRA withdrawal guidelines

Do have a Roth IRA older than 5 years, however I started Roth 401 K this year.

So in the future when I roll over the Roth 401 K to the old Roth IRA, do I qualify for the five-year holding period.

Alternatively do have to wait for 5 years after the rollover

Do the management company wil own a share to keep their interests in the business... I do see some of these fractional shares in land, and the clause is if the fractional share owners want to sell, should sell to the promoter or existing owners first before selling to others. the promoters also have 1/3 in their ownership so they control the voting as well...

In essence the promoter will have kept 33% for themself and added that cost to the rest of the 67% and sold....too complicated than buying outright as a single owner.
