I have a Schott peacoat and wear it when it’s below say 30. It keeps my warm from -5 on up. I adore it.

If it’s above 30 my North Face lightweight puffy coat works, plus it’s lightweight and can be stuffed into small space.

Worker here

Alarm set for 7:20 a.m., but I usually get out of bed around 7:50 a.m. Four minute commute to my 8:30 a.m. job is nice.

On weekends I try to be up by 9 a.m. but can sleep until 10 or even 11 occasionally.

I go to bed around midnight.

Can I mail Monday without filing 2210 bad just hope I don’t get a letter requesting the penalty? The payments are fairly small - around $600 feds / $250 State (PA).

Sounds to me you need to convince your parents an all-inclusive resort would be a better choice for most everyone.

I’m very late to this thread but was fortunate to travel with my parents from a very early age. The biggest thing I learned and now at 36 years old swear by is:

Buy that item. Book that hotel. Arrange that car service.

Vacation time is to short to scrimp.

Exact same thing happens to me in January - 2013 RAV4 Limited.

Repair at dealer was $367 total. Had to replace entire unit - but paint (red) matches exactly. The door panel had to come off to replace due to the wiring.

Dealer is a very well respected PA dealer owned by famous race car drive. :)

Amtrak has also devalued senior and AAA discounts.

I’m a massive Starbucks fan and supporter. I go nearly daily for a chai latte. I support their efforts to help employees and employeee practices.

This is highly dependent on country/city. $500 in NYC can get you a run of the mill Marriott/Hyatt but we paid $289/night last week in Berlin for the Regent. That same Regent if in NYC would push $800+/night easy.

If you own a Toyota, the original battery will most likely die 38 months in.

We had ours die on our 38 month old RAV4 last weekend and the AAA guy said he replaces about 10/week that are all the same age.

If you truly don't don't want to break the bank, you can eliminate Norway immediately. It's one of the most expensive places on earth. I strongly advise against a 30" suitcase as keeping it under the weight threshold is virtually impossible.

I can travel 10 days in my eBags weekender backpack. I'd advise you to look for something 24-25" if you must go above carry-on size.
