Do either of you like animals - specifically big cats (tigers, lions, etc?) If so go to the Exotic Feline Rescue Center about an hour or so west of Indianapolis. It is amazing. I took my wife there for her birthday and we rented the on-site cabin and it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had...

My organization funds the construction of PassiveHaus multifamily buildings and just today had our 7 story tower addition/historical building renovation certified.

If I were building today I wouldn’t build anything that WASN’T PassiveHaus or thermal envelop certified.

We have used a dedicated iPhone app and then emailed to/printed for 30 cents at CVS. Never an issue and done this at least 6 times for ourselves and friends.

Visit www.rover.com. Interview a few. Hire one. Likely cheaper than the gas you roundtrip.

The Uniqlo Airism undershirts are the best. I particularly love their mesh version. These undershirts are thin, breathable, don't stink and have yet to produce a hole in the past few years. Thanks everyone! Interestingly enough we bought the before-mentioned Nordstrom sheets and after a month they were tearing.

Whatever solution you end up with (and a $1,000 Yamaha soundbar with subwoofer sounds as good as many high-end receiver systems), ensure what you purchase includes a HDMI ARC input and no less than 2 (the more the better) other HDMI inputs.

Careful with Speed Queens, they changed manufacturing methods last year and the post 2017 models are, according to a friend in the business, now garbage that hogs water and doesn’t clean clothing.

I disagree with the statement that AAA contracts out everything. We have had to use AAA three times in 10 years and every t8me they were in a AAA-branded truck and uniform. We get roadside service through USAA and our Chase Sapphire Reserved card but I highly doubt they would be faster than using AA...

I have a Schott peacoat and wear it when it’s below say 30. It keeps my warm from -5 on up. I adore it.

If it’s above 30 my North Face lightweight puffy coat works, plus it’s lightweight and can be stuffed into small space.

Worker here

Alarm set for 7:20 a.m., but I usually get out of bed around 7:50 a.m. Four minute commute to my 8:30 a.m. job is nice.

On weekends I try to be up by 9 a.m. but can sleep until 10 or even 11 occasionally.

I go to bed around midnight.

Can I mail Monday without filing 2210 bad just hope I don’t get a letter requesting the penalty? The payments are fairly small - around $600 feds / $250 State (PA).

Sounds to me you need to convince your parents an all-inclusive resort would be a better choice for most everyone.

I’m very late to this thread but was fortunate to travel with my parents from a very early age. The biggest thing I learned and now at 36 years old swear by is:

Buy that item. Book that hotel. Arrange that car service.

Vacation time is to short to scrimp.

Exact same thing happens to me in January - 2013 RAV4 Limited.

Repair at dealer was $367 total. Had to replace entire unit - but paint (red) matches exactly. The door panel had to come off to replace due to the wiring.

Dealer is a very well respected PA dealer owned by famous race car drive. :)

Amtrak has also devalued senior and AAA discounts.

These are purposeful changes to make it run like an airline. Seat selection coming soon (for a fee, of course).

I’m a massive Starbucks fan and supporter. I go nearly daily for a chai latte. I support their efforts to help employees and employeee practices.
