Re: Is it difficult to switch from an iPhone to an Android?

DW and I both have iPads and I have an Android phone (Nexus 6P). It would be difficult for DW to switch to Android as any small change in how something works on her iPad causes frustration. I need WiFi calling as my home has a metal roof with no cellular signal inside. I don't believe that iPhones d...

You have to shop carefully but there are still plenty of bargains sold by Amazon or their third party partners. I have ordered 218 times on Amazon in 2017 and 399 times in 2016 (and have been a customer since 1996 according to Amazon's order records). We buy electronics, garden supplies, some food i...

Re: Bogleheads: you should be buying 10-year old cars

My plan is to buy a new car every 5 years - main reason is that safety features are changing quickly and I want to have a safer car as I get older (currently age 66). So I plan to buy a new car in 2020, 2025, 2030.. until I can no longer drive. Second reason is that this gives us a way to help our a...

If you weren't buying a truck, I would suggest that you buy a Subaru using their VIP program. You participate in the Subaru VIP program by joining one of their sponsoring organizations (some cost as little as $30 per year) at least six months before you buy your new Subaru.
