Re: Boglehead Beer

I admittedly did not read all 10 pages, just the first and part of the 10th. I'll go along with the consensus, Yuengling is great beer for the price, just wish they distributed farther West than Ohio! If you are ever in PA stop by for the tour, it's pretty neat to see. If anyone is near Wisconsin I ...

Re: Customer Driven MBA?

In general I wouldn't be overly concerned about pursuing the MBA degree with an engineering undergrad. However, whether you took business classes during your undergrad is a very valid question. Re: Personal Finance Question [Portfolio Help, Pay Down Loan

Thank you for the responses. Sounds like the nagging in the back of my brain aligns with what you all are suggesting, perhaps I'll be a Boglehead one day yet! I will look into the Roth contributions, but I'm not sure there is enough there to make a significant impact(post rollover). I do believe som...

Re: Personal Finance Question [Portfolio Help, Pay Down Loan

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply. I'm working to increase the e fund, but with some of the other things going on its a slow process. Hoping the year end bonus will help get me there.

As far as the 401k contribution, what are you considering a modest contribution? Reducing to 5%?

Personal Finance Question [Portfolio Help, Pay Down Loan?]

Hello Bogleheads! I've been lurking around the site for a while, reading, learning, and trying to educate myself in the personal finance world. I've finally decided to come out and ask my own question. I am a fairly recent graduate from college(May 2010) and I am a bit curious as to what to do with ...
