Waiting on my third card. “financialpanther.com” has a great how-to tutorial. Takes like 5 business days for the transfer from Ally to hit, does take a long time to receive the card. I hope they don’t reduce the max like Netspend did. Going fine so far.

We used “On-Star,” it worked pretty well. It has been a few years, we bought a rear-view mirror containing on-star, then it was like $30./month for the service. It is also a phone.

If you 're OK with buying from a Canadian pharmacy, Ombrelle sport lotion. Think the brand is sold in the US, but without Mexoryl, a sunscreen not available here. Have done that for 4-5 years now.

It would be odd to have a "covered" Rx cost more than the "not-covered" one. Are you on a high- deductible plan? If so, you're mostly out of luck, unless you do the Canada thing. I have 5 Netspend accounts, ACH-in a dollar a month automatically, seems pretty autopilot to me. $61.03/QTR, or something close to that. Never use the debit card, that's it.

Still waiting. I believe the original announcement said if you did nothing, your account would be closed 10/1, and checks would be mailed 10/16-24. Seems like there was never any intent to send checks sooner. Maybe I'm wrong about that, I don't have the will to go dig up that document.
