Re: Laptop Decision
As far as the new M1 Macs go, Depending on what you use the laptop for - If routine web browsing, home/office stuff, 8 gb should be fine. If you are planning to do heavy video/photo editing - you can upgrade to 16gb. Also memory on the new Macs is faster and closely integrated with the rest of the c...

Re: Anyone have the new Apple M1 MacBook?
Love the new MacBook M1. Couldn't resist those Microcenter deals! The performance and battery life even on the base 8GB MacBook Air really puts the rest of the industry to shame. Although it is the cheapest Apple laptop, everything about it screams premium. As far as spreadsheets go, Excel is the ki...

The maximum streaming speed on Sling TV is 4.7 Mb/s for ESPN, ESPN2 and Disney. All other channels are at a maximum of 3.7 Mb/s
Not sure about DSL but most cable services have adequate speed without the need to pay extra for higher speeds

Re: I think NY Giant coach Tom Coughlin is a Boglehead
Eli was getting pounded by the Niners D. The game was lost with two uncharacteristic turnovers... One unforced I might add. Luck was on their side for sure. Luck is what happens when preparation and opportunity meet. Two very good teams. jb Luck is also in the way the ball bounces. Literally in thi...

Own a macbook from 2006. Used to own a ipod (2nd gen, I think) that was stolen and a iphone (the very first one) that I ended up giving away as AT&T sucks where I live.
Looking to buy an Ipad when the new one comes out. However my next laptop will likely be a thinkpad

April and October
In times such as now when the real yields are so low, I feel April and October are the best months to buy I Bonds as you have an estimate of the return for 11 months ahead. I would treat them as short term investments and compare the returns constantly with CD yields. If the real yields were attract...

they might win the north, but there are six teams in the south better than Nebraska. Really? A&M? Baylor? Since Nebraska plays Baylor on the road and Texas Tech and Ok at home, I wouldn't be surprised if they win them all (esp. Ok with that offensive line) Assuming that Nebraska faces Texas in ...
