Re: Is it worth it? [demanding jobs vs time with family]
I don't think you can fully know until you give it a try. Can you reduce your hours temporarily to see how it goes? My wife quit her job to stay home with our kids but ended up very ready to go back to work. She's now back at work and the whole family is happier. She works probably 50 hours a week ...

We were in Florence, OR earlier this summer and really loved riding the buggy on the sand-dunes. If you have small kids then go for the big ones as they go slower. Else go for the seven-seater ones. http://www.sandland.com/ A couple of good lighthouses near Florence, OR. We missed going to this Safa...

Re: Costco gift cards for restaurants? FREE Lunch?
While at Costco recently, I noticed a whole display of gift cards fro restaurants with a price significantly less than the face value of the gift card. For example, 2 McCormick & Schmick $50 cards were priced under $80. Sounds like a FREE $20 if my wife and I are going anyway and will spend tha...

Thanks for the replies. It looks like the main suggestion is to call the other party's insurance and ask+negotiate a diminished value compenstation. Talking to Appriasal Group of America should help him get a good sense of the diminished value.

Hi, I am writing to get some help for a friend who was recently involved in a car accident. My friend's car was rear-ended with no fault on his part. Hi, what should I do, sell all? hold all? sell half? I sell all my ESPP holdings at the first chance I get and divert the money to my Vanguard mutual funds.
