Retired Jan 1. Was 66 on Jan 6. 46.5 years building power lines. Loved my job. Have biked about 1/2 the days so far this year. At 950 miles. Have spent about 1/2 of this year in
Florida so far. Going back tomorrow. Love no having winter.

We had a Samsung refrigerator 12 years ago. After 6 repair trips under warranty and never getting fixed we replaced it. We built a new house and used Kitchenaid appliances. We have replaced the microwave and refrigerator. Microwave was fixed once. We brought a new one the second time we had trouble....

I brought EM in a down market. My mistake was buying In a taxable account. Now if I sell its time to pay. Probably just leave them to the kids.

All the pump nozzles in the truck lanes at truck stops
Are bigger nozzles. However, the nozzles for diesels at the gas pumps are smaller and wil fit in cars. I had an employee put Dep fluid on a diesel. That’s about a 15-20k mistake. That is really bad. Injectors, valves, drain tank. Very caustic

Ahnation. Deluxe will let you do both federal and state for $18. I do not know if it will do the city. I doubt if it will though.

I turn 65 in January and am still working. My insurance requires me to start Medicare at 65. I applied online on 10/9/18. I got s call from a SS agent processing the application on 10/15/18. I was surprised by the call that quick and that it came on a Saturday. It was the SS Administration.

I always have more than one state. Do your out of residence states first then your state you live in last. I use the one free state given with the tax software and do the other states by hand. Several States have software that will do the math as you fill the return out.

Long term gains are taxed at 15%. Short term gains are taxed at your tax bracket when over 15%!tax bracket.

That your investments are managed by a broker does not surprise me. You have enough in assets that A Vanguard Advisor would help you in transferring accounts to Vanguard. Without posting percentages or in the format requested on this site it is impossible to tell what you have. Best of luck.

It is really hard to tell what you have except for a whole bunch of funds. I think some investment advisors do this on purpose to complicate things. We have a 2014 outback with 4000 miles on it. Just got it back from the dealer who replaced the radio. Backup camera is part of the radio. Never had radio problems in any car we've owned. Warranty.

I have a 10 year old two cycle toro. Been hard to start since new. I end up taking carburetor apart to drain gas left in it to get it started after setting over winter. Always use stabilizer in gas too. Toro does not make two cycle engine in snowblowers now.

My first correction as an investor was 1987. I did not sell but you could not have held a gun to my head to get me to buy.
Even though I really did not have much money invested at the time, it was most of what we had. I learned from it and kept investing. One never knows the future.
